"The Town of Beginnings was the starter zone. It was the first city we ever came across in Aincrad. It had enough room to house more than half of us. There was a giant road in the middle of the city, as well as a town square fountain. It had a medieval feeling to it, much like the rest of the game, except on a grander scale." |

"The first floor was the most expansive. It allowed us to level up and focus our strength. It also accommodated all ten thousand of us. The other floors were smaller, and we had a smaller amount of players. The game mocked us. Kayaba knew that thousands of us would die. Psychopath." [DEATH ENABLED] |

"Horunka was a village located to the northwest of the Town of Beginnings. It consisted of ten buildings, including an inn, weapon shop, and tool shop, so it was able to serve as a hunting base. In its surrounding forest, there were no monsters that spawned that could cause paralysis or equipment destruction. There were seven private NPC houses as well, each with their own questgivers." |

"Tolbana was the second largest town on the 1st Floor of Aincrad with a size of 200 meters from edge to edge. The city was surrounded by large castle walls and was known for its white walled windmill towers, as well as being the closest town to the 1st Floor’s Labyrinth, situated in a valley at a walking distance of thirty minutes. It consisted of an inn, a place where food is served, and several NPC houses. Many water fountains were scattered across the town. The fountain at the centre of Tolbana was considered the largest of the fountain areas and it was even often used as a meeting area for groups to go into the Labyrinth." |

"Labyrinths in Sword Art Online were those pillars between floors. In order to find the boss, you had to ascend the labyrinth and find its room. Illfang's Labyrinth was filled with kobolds and other nasties but it was generally straightforward to navigate. The only problem was fighting the monsters along the way." [DEATH ENABLED] |
