In real life, Junko was a humble secretary at a small business. She worked the front desk for a printing company and didn't work many hours, but it paid well. Junko lived alone with her cat, and most of her spare time was spent gaming. However, once or twice a week, she would help out with a gaming club at a local community center. Other than this, most of her life was online.

Junko is actually the leader of one of the most recognizable cross game guilds in the Japanese gaming community, Knife of Day. The guild played multiple games together and was a top guild in almost every game she led it in. The guild was known for being brutal in PvP and PvE while also being the first to gain the newest and highest tier equipment due to their frighteningly efficient crafters. The guild has even gained some international fame as several of it's members, including Junko, have attended and won several competitive gaming tournaments.

Junko became trapped in Sword Art Online with her co-lead Tiecoon on the first day and was separated from most of her guild, whom she only hopes didn't log in launch day.

Saint has a lot of friends both in real life and over the internet. She was a prominent figure in a local gaming club and even recruited several of the teens and young adults from there into her guild. Online, she was known as a community leader in several MMOs. So if your character has played MMOs in the past, it's very likely that they know of her or have even interacted with her before in the past. As for those who dont know her, Saint is a very helpful figure who is quick to try and support or protect anyone who seems to need it.

Saint is quick to protect others- which can irk others. Furthermore, she's very mama bear-ish and will fight without a second thought to protect those she cares for- even if they don't need protection and fighting is an overreaction. In previous games she was also known for purposely dismantling guilds who harassed her own guild members. Those who have been her enemies in other games may recognize her here.

Saint's life has always revolved around games ever since she was a child. It is a joke within her guild that “It'd take a devil and a saint to make her put down her laptop and date.”
