The icing-covered muzzle of the wolf was comical in nature, and Comic herself wish she had another moment to take it in and remember that. However, as things stood, that wasn't going to work out in her favor; the dire wolf was soon upon them, easily her height and with a body built of thick, armor-like fur and a rippling muscular frame. Like a living weapon it attacked Saint and the table; the immortal status managed to secure them a single victory point, but it would be short lived at best if all they did was cower.
After it tried another snarl at Saint and a swipe at Pax she shifted about, waiting for it to try another bite to shove the table forward and towards the open mouth; a successful crunch down and the wolf had bit into her own table leg rather than another attempt at pax. This gave her the more important moment of pulling towards herself and at one of the corners of the cafe, the dire wolf letting go but following Comic around to get ready to pounce on her.
Letting go tossed her a might off balance, however, and it jumped at her and a sick slice cut its way into her shoulder over the table. The pain settled in quickly and she hissed as her hit points dropped a hefty 50 points. This thing could be a problem if they weren't careful, indeed.

Saint grinned towards Paxilon as he spoke. The plan was working so far, and they had found a safe way to kill the wolf without causing themselves too much damage. That meant the rest of this quest would be cake. ”Yep,” she responded to his question about how long it'd take for them to take down the wolf. He really wasn't an MMO person was he? Grinding was a staple of most online games. [break][break] When Comic got attacked, Saint frowned and reached through the crevice between the tables to stab at the wolf to distract it from her.
