| | She hummed the opening refrain to a Christmas carol, hands warmed by the coffee she’d bought a few minutes ago. The quest she’d undertaken wasn’t anything interesting, but at least it kept her in the town and meant she didn’t have to try and kill monsters with her current gear. She strolled through the street until she found a board peppered with other posters, mostly advertising player crafting services. Flicking open her inventory, she scrolled through until she found the collection of wanted posters the NPC had given her. It materialised in her hand as she clicked on it, and it didn’t take long to put it up (even if she did steal a pin from another poster and stick hers over the top). She was surprised to have found another easy quest to do in Tolbana; perhaps being here was not as bad as she’d feared, though she was still worried about leaving the safe zone of the high level town alone. |

Cheshire had made it to Tolbana with her brother who was off doing what he did best. They would meet back up at the inn later on which left Cheshire to do as she liked on her own. However, she couldn't leave the town. She wasn't like the other younger kids. She hadn't exactly gone crazy after the annoucement. It was more that she had fainted and her brother being the dutiful brother that he was had waited until she had woken up again to explain what was going on. And so she had in a way a more simple time of it. She felt bad for the really young ones here though. What were they all supposed to do to help. This was her first actual game she'd ever played. She had watched her big brother play games but she had never really played them herself until that fateful day. She wondered what her parents were doing. She shrugged it off as she skipped around the town. It seemed like ages ago that announcement had been. She was still skipping not paying attention when she nearly ran into someone at the board that was posted in this part of town. She stopped just in time not to hit anyone. She watched as the girl hung up a poster. "What are you doing?" She questioned the older girl and smiled up at her. She looked up at the poster her head tilted. She wondered what this person had done to get a wanted poster. She had remembered seeing a movie where these kind of things were used. "Is the person lost?" She asked curiously. For her twelve years of life she was also niave mostly because of the protection that her parents and brother had given to her though she figured that it couldn't be helped and such. She did however try to find the good in everything zero

| | She turned, surprised, as a small voice addressed her. The child blinking up at her looked about the same age as the girl on the poster, though there were few other similarities. “Yeah, the mayor’s granddaughter is missing. There’s a quest to put up posters for it.”
Part of her was tempted to move on, not particularly wanting to be stuck with a kid, but compassion won out. “Look, you can see the NPC over there, with the gold exclamation mark above his head. Why don’t you get the quest and we can do it together?” She was surprised to see such a young child in Tolbana. Most had – wisely – decided to stay in the Town of Beginnings, not physically or mentally capable of dealing with the game’s challenges. No child should have to deal with that sort of psychological torture. “It’s a pretty easy quest, and there’s no chance of monsters spawning.”
