The pommel on the other end is similarly diamond-shaped, and though made of brass can be used for a quick jab in a pinch. The sleeves are long enough to cover the wearer's arms while being light and flexible enough not to impede movement. It is shaped to fit the wearer's form, so as to prevent it from hanging loosely and becoming a bother. The hem of this hood is stitched with a silver thread that displays a double stitched pattern along the edges. The peak of the hood comes down to cover the eyes of the wearer like a beak. Coming down just barely above the ankles, this coat is hemmed with a silver thread that creates a double stitched pattern along the edges. A piece of leather envelopes the shoulders coming down just to the chest flaring out to protect the wearer from rain. The inside of this coat contains a merlot coloured fabric that adds to the sophistication. Along the midsection is a leather belt with a stylized silver clasp bearing the ₡ symbol. It's not pretty, but it's basically a slab of copper designed to withstand some blows. Function trumps looks. On the inside, an 'R' is engraved.
