”EEK! HELP! I work at the cafe up the road! A wolf somehow wandered into the city and was attracted by the smell of food! It's ravaging the cafe! We managed to evacuate the cafe, but now the wolf is destroying everything inside!!! Could you destroy it before it completely runs us out of business?!”
Comic sighed as the NPC called out to her from across the street. Trying not to look as tired as she felt, she marched over, feeling the crunch of her armor in every step. Logging in to play this beta after a raging night at work wasn't her best idea, but her virtual body felt, for all intents, rather okay. It was, perhaps, the issue of having a worn out body and mind trying to simulate the effects of a much stronger virtual one.
She didn't dwell on it.
The NPC gave her the spiel and pointed out the cafe in question, and then a quest prompt. Annoyance, but a chance to shake off some sword art tiredness. Hand on the handle, she accepted the quest prompt and was immediately met with the party requirement.
A moment within the menu, and she tried to explore the Social menu. No dice on trying to find out if anyone was local. She would have to manually add people later to ask them... a thought which pained her. She would need to wait for a bit of luck.

[nospaces] [break] sweet dreams are made of you Lady Luck was fickle, but today she decided to be generous to the pair. [break][break] Canary had been bored, trying to see if she'd missed any quests in town or something. She was finally hitting up the last part of town, and guess who she spots just standing outside? Someone rather familiar, as the blonde just let a smile come over her lips. From what she knew of the other girl, she wouldn't just be standing around for no reason. Rather, this is almost how they met, and it's rather hilarious to the Dex based fighter, but she kept it in. [break][break] Calm and steady. [break][break] ''Yo Comic! Party requirements?'' she called out and asked. It was rather obvious she thinks, considering the npc with a quest over their head, and the raging snarls she hears from inside the building. Tap, the quest information comes to her eyes, and tap again, she accepts it. The party requirement wall hits her, but she just manually invites Comic to the party. Perhaps she should add the other girl to her friend's list, because it would be easier that way she thinks. It's nice that the game forces multiplayer cooperation, if not a bit weird - it gives her a queasy feeling because no game has ever done that, they've always offered a solo option in some way - but a pain when you're mostly a solo player like herself, and apparently Comic over there. [break][break] ''Figured we might as well work together on this one.'' she said, giving a semi-cheeky grin. [break][break] Comic[googlefont="Muli|Pavanam"]
