I'm Areto, a beta tester for Sword Art Online, which is the world's first fully immersive VMMORPG game. For those of you who don't know what VMMORPG stands for, it means, Virtual Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game.

Anyway, there are a lot of things that go into playing the game and yours truly was a pretty terrible student. Learning things by taking notes and picking out the important information always worked for me.
So I thought, "Hey Areto, why not share this with everyone?" and here we are!
This guide is broken up into several categories which are based on the topics in the manual that you were given before launching the game the first time. I know some people who probably didn't read it and others who did and may not understand everything, so I'll help to alleviate some of the confusion, or cause more of it.

[attr="class","genisbox"]The first thing that you should always do when playing any game or joining a forum is read the terms of service. The terms of service holds the fundamental key to not getting yourself kicked off the game or even banned by the moderators. I couldn't imagine what it would be like if Cardinal got upset at me. Would you?
There are a few rules that are rather obvious:
None of us want to be "that guy" and we all want to have fun, right?
However, those are the basic rules that I can think of. The full terms of service is located here. Make sure to brush up on it so you're not caught on Cardinal's radar!

- Be kind to others.
- If you have any issues during beta or the actual gameplay, tell the admins immediately.
- If you find any "loopholes" or glitches in the system during beta testing, inform the game masters immediately.
- Please don't take any screenshots and share them with anyone, no matter how harmless they may be, unless they are fellow beta testers.
- Remember that you're not all powerful and at some point, you may die in game, but don't try to steal the glory from someone else.

All of this wouldn't have been possible without the genius creator, Kayaba Akihiko, but no one has been able to reach him for word about the game.
But I digress, the beta test for the game opened up on September 23, 2022! And we've been granted access to the first floor of the game, isn't that great?
We have until October 7th, 2022 to beat the first floor of the game and anything that comes our way afterwards. That is why this guide will be updated until the game goes live on November 6th, 2022! Isn't that exciting?
Apparently, the game masters are giving quite a few prizes for us beta testing. For one, we'll be getting the title of «Beta Tester».
The additional benefits so far are:
