[nospaces] [break] you can't see all the things I take Another town - another night. [break][break] It was easy to move where the quests guided you. Kiera was one to follow where the exp was, and this was no exception. The easy quests were guiding her around, and they were rather simple - there had been only one kill quest so far. But perhaps, she'd wait till her next level, before taking on anything higher then the lowest available ones. She knew it would be difficult enough for her and her brother to juggle all the ones they had now, but they should finish relatively quickly. And as each one finished, the stronger the pair would get. It was how it worked, both in real life and in games. You do something to make yourself stronger. [break][break] Life and death game no exception. [break][break] Her fingers twitch in a small spasm, before she lets out a breath. Few players were out at this hour, she could reason, even in this town. A town with a night quest attached, even as she stood nearby, waiting to absorb someone into the group of her and her brother. Once that was done, they could go, finish the quest, and keep going. She was starting to find the fact that she was holding herself back - rather, that she was waiting for others to smarten up - was boring. She was getting bored, and in a game that could really kill her? That was bad news, because she'd go with her brother's crazy ass ideas. And it never worked for them before so this wouldn't be any different. [break][break] Twisting a lock of blue in between her fingers, she sees someone approaching. And so, she waits for them to take the quest, and notice the solo wall in front of it - then and only then would she pounce. [break][break] Patience is a virtue. It was getting darker. Pax found that strange, really. If he recalled correctly, this quest had something to do with lighting up the lanterns, but surely the game wouldn't force darkness upon the player as they began doing so? He shook his head with a frown, that would make things easy for mobs to sneak up on a player. He didn't like that one bit. This might've been the first time he considered actually needing a third player, if only for the safety cushion of an extra set of eyes.
"Kie!" the air around Pax began to feel cold, as if the quest were setting itself up before they'd even really began it, "one of these days we're going to have to quest without each other, you know."
Pax sat down on a bench next to his sister and rested his head in the palm of his hand, mocking a nap position, "You'll get tired of me taking my time eventually, you know. But that's fine, I'll find all the secrets without you."
Pax grinned and looked up at his sister. He was getting tired. He never could keep up with his sister for too long. She was a marathon player. He was a sprinter. Ironically, he was the one who rested more often. Or maybe it was that he needed more rest than her. He couldn't remember the specific phrasing. He started day dreaming of hot chocolate, and partially dozed off into his hand.
He felt like she was being far too patient, so he decided a little rest was well deserved. KIERA JACKZ

Jack was already in the area by the time they went after the quest, though he wasn't exactly in the most visible of locations. He wasn't even as close to the quest pickup as they were either it seemed, but rather one of them had gotten fairly close likely without even noticing it. Behind the bench, laying on the ground with head lightly propped up on a makeshift pillow made from a pack and arms crossed over his chest was Jack, quietly snoozing away for a quick nap. He was quiet enough that their talking would likely be enough to drown out any noise he made while sleeping, though as things grew slightly quieter, a very light snore could probably be heard by the one sitting on the bench. It wouldn't take much to glance his way either, and despite the lighting of the area, he'd still stick out somewhat, thanks to his face and clothing.

[nospaces] [break] you can't see all the things I take Her brother was obviously going to try and annoy her. [break][break] It was his mondus operanti at this point. ''No we won't, because we promised not to leave this party remember.'' she said. Her voice wasn't hostile, but it didn't have the normal joking tone to it. It let him know she was serious about that. But he was slowly drifting into a nap, and the girl sighed. She looked up at the sky, and thought about it. Maybe they would split one day - but it would be she that did it first. Because she had to live her own life, and not be tied down to her brother forever. She doubted he'd let her go, simply because she still remembers when he'd come into her room at night, trembling, making sure she was alive. [break][break] He couldn't lose her. [break][break] She knew that, but she sighed. She knew she needed him just as much as he needed her - she had grown up with him always there. Even despite their father... she knew their mom was off working a lot in other countries, with their step-dad. And that left the two kids at home, alone. Her mother trusted in her, as Kiera was a responsible child whilst her brother... well he wasn't that responsible most of the time. She snuck a glance at him, and felt a gentle smile on her face. She could let him rest for a bit, even as she shifted her position. Although, that's when she heard something odd. [break][break] Her brother didn't snore, and so, she started to look around for the noise, before looking towards the bench her brother was on. Pax was enjoying the night breeze a little too much, honestly. The way it caressed his skin. He was half awake as he heard his sister say something. He had not the mind to listen, though. He would one day regret not listening to his sister as much as he could have, but this day was not the one where it would dawn on him. He was ignoring everything but the wind at the moment. And then, he heard himself start to snore. He shot awoke and shook his head violently. He looked over to Kiera and frowned, "How long was I asleep?"
Without waiting for a response, Pax raised his hand as he realised. He hadn't fallen asleep at all. But he had definitely heard snoring. He squinted his eyes and looked around. Raising a hand to the side of his head, he tapped his ear, trying to signal to Kiera that he heard something. Frowning, he stood up slowly and looked around more fervently than before. There it was a again, a very light snore. If he hadn't ignored his sister entirely and almost fallen asleep, he never would have heard it. Then he saw him. The man that had been snoozing behind his bench. How had he not noticed this person just laying on the ground behind him? Sure, he was tired, but this was ridiculous.
"Who even sleeps outside like this?" he gestured to the man on the ground, giving his sister a quizzical look. JACKZ KIERA
