[attr="class","clyrics"]I WANNA TEAR YOU APART [attr="class","clyrics1"]AND I HATE HOW I NEED YOU | [attr="class","cwords"]The news had almost left Snow speechless, her lips unable to move. She was sure Maisie was just as shocked. She stared at the cup in front of her, her fingers running over the cup. Trying to accept that this was her reality. This cup that she knew was just.. data, coding, was now the only world she'd know. It wasn't like she could just become the best at this game.
Despite... the fact that they pretty much split up.. she missed her fiance. She told Maisie that she needed time alone, but she knew her sister needed her right now. So, she waited until she fell asleep and snuck into the small restaurant in the Inn, she ordered a drink with the little money she'd collected up to now.
In a place like this you can't really be alone.. so despite having people around her a few tears fell from her face. But it wasn't like she was the only one, there were children crying all over town. That was probably what got her most. She'd have to find a way to protect them.
How could she do that if she couldn't even protect herself.
"Fuck"
It was a small whisper she spoke, before putting her face into her hands. This whole situation just... sucked. Man it fucking sucked. God she could punch a hole in the wall. She wanted to scream and throw things, but instead she had to sit here. [attr="class","cnotes"] Farmsalot || I hope this works for you? |

For the first time since entering the world of Sword Art, Farms' eyes looked hard. A combination of anger, frustration, betrayal and worry all boiling in his gut. The first thing Farms did was find everything he could on the crafting systems the game had to offer, applying himself until he had a firm understanding of how everything worked. Then he went to work, gathering materials and forging his first set of armor. He could only hope there would be many more to follow.
He may not be a warrior or a leader, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to be in this fight. 213 had already lost their lives, and he knew there were going to be more to follow. But if he could save even a single life with his work, he was going to do it.
Fortunately he managed to work out most of his frustrations, the long period of time spent working and studying the game served as a good release. It was also an exhausting end to an exhausting day, causing him to retreat to the Inn for a rest. He was still wearing his new set of armor, a long shot from the shabby clothes he started with. At least he could take comfort in that upgrade.
Entering the Inn perfectly illustrated the change that had occurred in the community. Once a bustling hub was now dark and quiet, only a few people gathered talking in somber tones. He lowered his gaze, slowly making his way to the stairs so as not to disturb the other players. At least that was the plan.
A voice caught his attention, one that sounded like a distraught woman unable to do anything but curse her situation. Head turned slightly to see the source, a young lady sitting by herself. It didn't take long for Farms to come to his decision, taking a deep breath before turning and making is way toward her.
A leather and copper clad hand moved to gently rest on the woman's shoulder as he spoke in a hushed tone. "Mind if I sit here?" He didn't wait for her to respond, instead continuing forward and setting himself down on the other side of the table. In all honesty he had absolutely no idea what he was doing here. He had never had to comfort someone in a situation like this before. "Did you...lose someone?" Sitting sad and alone at a time like this...He could only hope he was wrong. | I DON'T need THE WHOLE PIE, I JUST WANT MY LITTLE SLICE

[attr="class","clyrics"]I WANNA TEAR YOU APART [attr="class","clyrics1"]AND I HATE HOW I NEED YOU | [attr="class","cwords"]Considering Snow had her sister with her she felt as though she should feel more lucky then she really did. She wished more then anything that Maisie wasn't here, and sort of wondered if this was a sign that her fiance was right, and that she shouldn't of contacted her again.
When she felt a hand on her shoulder Snow couldn't help but jump. Composing herself for a moment, she looked ahead at the person sitting in front of her. Who.. looked oddly familiar. She stared at him for a long while, trying to place exactly where she had seen him before. She bit her lip, realizing she took awhile to answer.
"N-No thank god I just..." Snow wasn't one to spill her guts out to some stranger. But she really felt like she knew this guy. "I just, I'm not a typical gamer and I don't know if I can do this."
Her answer was honest and she felt awfully dumb in spilling this out. But really, her biggest fear was not being able to survive this.
"I almost died to the first thing I tried fighting earlier!"
Her voice rose a little, angry at herself. Before realizing that she was getting angry, and the person in front of her. "Sorry.. this is just difficult."
It was then that she realized how badly she needed to talk to someone. Maisie was just to young, she didn't feel like she could talk to her about this, and right now, Maisie is all she knew. Running a hand through her hair, she sighed and took a breath before looking at the guy for another long moment.
"I'm sorry, but I swear I know you from somewhere. I know this is kind of inappropriate but do you or did you go to Tokyo University?" [attr="class","cnotes"] Farmsalot || Haha she's filled with angry. |

He couldn't help but breathe a soft sigh of relief upon hearing she had yet to lose anyone. If that were the case he would have really been speechless. But what followed rung all too true, brows pinching together as she spoke. Almost losing to a weak monster?Honestly that sounded like something that would've happened to him if he tried that pig quest he encountered earlier. Expression softened as he gave her a smile nodding slowly before he spoke. "At least you're not alone there. I'm in that same boat. In fact, this is the first video game I've ever played." He shrugged, armor plates clinking together as he moved to rest his arms on the table.
"And you don't need to apologize. We all have a right to be angry here. As long as we don't take it out on each other, we've got a chance." One of his biggest fears was that the players would start to turn on each other. If they would start to kill other players for their money or equipment in an attempt to give themselves a better chance. At that point there really wouldn't be much hope left.
His heart sank a little as the conversation came to a brief pause, noticing the trails of tears still on her cheeks. If he was back home he would have pulled out his handkerchief and let her use that. But like everything else, that was left in the the real world. The end to the pause came as a surprise, causing his eyes to immediately snap back to hers.
"Oh no I don't mind at all. Actually I go to the Tokyo University of Agriculture. Though I do have a few friends over there." He squinted at the woman for a moment, head tilting as he searched his own mind for the connection. "But I will say you do look familiar yourself. Maybe names will help." Hands moved to press against either side of his helmet, lifting it off and setting it down on the table. "Nakamoto Shoichi. Second Year. [attr="class","clyrics"]I WANNA TEAR YOU APART [attr="class","clyrics1"]AND I HATE HOW I NEED YOU | [attr="class","cwords"]Snow knew that what people needed to do right now was rely on each other. So, to know that someone who understood her feelings was exactly what she needed to feel some relief on her heavy heart. For some reason, it surprised her that she wasn't the only non-gamer in the whole thing. It shouldn't, but needless to say it made her feel a lot better.
"You're right, you're right.." She nodded, she couldn't get mad at the other players. She wanted to scream at the ones that ran off and left the slower ones behind. Especially the children around her. But, the top ones who went straight for it were going to be the ones to get them out there and she should be thankful.
Snow rattled he name around her brain. Thinking for a long moment, she knew she'd heard it before and it finally clicked. "Are you friends with Araki Haru?" She asked. She was pretty sure she saw him hanging around with that guy, and thinks they all went to the movies and junk once or twice awhile back. It was one time, but it makes sense that she wouldn't remember him all to well.
"I'm Kurosawa Natsuki? Ring any bells?" She spoke hopefully, the fact that he was here made her feel 10xs less alone. Her eyes were already sparkling in hopes. Man, she could hug him. It wasn't like she was alone, her sister was here. But actually, she knew him better then she knew her own sister.
That was a weird thought. [attr="class","cnotes"] Farmsalot || Woot Woot~ |

Eyes widened as the name left her lips. "Haru?" A wide smile suddenly took over his features, the name bringing back a number of good memories. Farms, or rather Shoichi, didn't have too many friends back home. For the most part he kept to himself, staying busy with his school work and fiddling around with his little projects. But Araki Haru was one of those few people who would call him a friend. "I know him well. Probably one of my best friends in Tokyo."
Araki was the one who would always be dragging him around, trying to introduce him to new people and expand his circle of friends. Shoichi always wished he could be as social and outgoing as him, but up until now it just didn't feel natural to him. The next name was less familiar, a copper plated hand moving to curl around his chin as he mulled the name over. "Kurosawa...Natsuki." He stared at her as she spoke, continuing to ponder the name as he examined her features. Eventually, it all came together.
"Yes! Yes I remember! Haru introduced us, right?" Hand returned to rest on the table as he stared at Natsuki in disbelief. Never did he think he would actually come across someone he knew from the real world. "Honestly I'm surprised you even remember me! Gosh, I never thought... So, how have you been?" Even when Haru dragged him around he never did much socializing in the group, usually keeping quiet and just smiling and occasionally laughing along with the group. But those moments felt like they were miles away, like they were part of another era. Still, that made them all the more cherished. | I DON'T need THE WHOLE PIE, I JUST WANT MY LITTLE SLICE

[attr="class","clyrics"]I WANNA TEAR YOU APART [attr="class","clyrics1"]AND I HATE HOW I NEED YOU | [attr="class","cwords"]Seeing the moment that he remembered her she wanted to jump for joy. "Haha, yeah Haru's pretty cool." She spoke wondering if he happened to play the game as well. Though, she imagined he'd be hanging out with Haru rather then going and talking to her if that was the case.
Still, finding someone she knew in real life was the best news that she could of asked for. "Oh man, no I totally remember you. My friend was totally trying to hit on you but you never caught on! I remember that." She laughed before pausing and blushing. "Actually, forget I said that, that's embarrassing." She rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. Sometimes she ran her mouth off a little to much.
"But I'm just glad to know that there's someone else here I know." She said, jumping out of her chair and grabbing his hand. "You gotta add me to your friends list okay?" She was a little pushy but she was running on adrenialine. Plus, she didn't know how to add people to her friend's list...so he had to do it.
"And we'll get through this together." Her eyes were sparkling in hopes that she found another friend to help her through this. Maybe.. maybe they had a chance to survive now. Farms looked slightly confused at the prospect of someone hitting on him. Though that wasn't enough to hide the faint tint of red that appeared on his face. "Really? I'm sorry I just...find that hard to believe." He never really saw himself as the kind of guy that women were attracted to. Maybe it was for the best that he was oblivious to her advances. If he knew what was going on he probably would have felt obligated to take her out on a date. "Don't worry, I'll keep that to myself." He let out a nervous laugh after he spoke, a copper plated hand moving to ruffle his own hair.
Fortunately the subject soon changed, giving him something less uncomfortable to focus on. He managed to push his nerves aside and give her the most reassuring smile he could. "Yeah, it's good to see a familiar face. We may be here a while, so reminders of the real world are a good thing to have. Helps keep things in perspective." He already found himself getting lost in this virtual world a few times, which was a disturbing thought given it's nature. It was something he would have to stay on guard about.
He nodded quickly, gesturing to open up his main menu. "Of course. If you need anything don't hesitate to message me. We're going to have to stick together." After a moment of fiddling with the menu the friend request was sent. He closed the menu immediately after, arms resting on the table as he leaned forward. "There's not a doubt in my mind that we'll both be taking these headsets off. All it will take is a bit of teamwork, right?" | I DON'T need THE WHOLE PIE, I JUST WANT MY LITTLE SLICE

[attr="class","clyrics"]I WANNA TEAR YOU APART [attr="class","clyrics1"]AND I HATE HOW I NEED YOU | [attr="class","cwords"]Snow pulled away and accepted the friend request as fast as she could. "Yes, same to you. If you ever need help I'll do my best." She smiled at him, no one would of guessed that she was crying just a few moments ago.
"I also have a sister stuck in here too, her username is Maisie if you want to add her. I'm sure she'd always be willing to help as well." Really, she just wanted to make sure Maisie had a lot of people to contact if she needed too. But, she was sure Maisie would jump at any chance to help him too. "She's the sweetest thing I swear."
Snow was then at a loss of words for a moment, she just took a minute to let this all settle in. Ever since this happened this was the first time she felt hopefully. She wanted to pray for a moment, but she decided to do that later. But she silently thanked god for bringing her some comfort in this time.
"So, I guess we have some time. Unless you have somewhere to be? Do you want to catch up for a moment? What have you been doing?" She smiled and put her head in her hands staring at him expectantly.

Brows rose as her sister was mentioned, Farms immediately returning to the menu and opening up the social tab. He was going to have to manually send the invite and hope that she didn't mind adding an unfamiliar name. If she didn't he was sure Natsuki would fill her in. "So you've got family with you. That must be...bittersweet." On the one hand he was glad that he didn't have any evidence that his brother was playing. On the other, it would have been really nice to have him there to guide him through all of this. At least he seemed to be doing a good job on his own,as far as he could tell.
With that done he closed the menu once more and set his focus back onto Natsuki. He smiled at her onslaught of questions, a copper plated finger curling around his chin as he considered each of them. "No, I don't have anywhere to be. I actually came here to take a break." The only place he had to be after all of this was bed. But something as simple as that could wait. "I'd love to catch up. Though this is the most exciting thing to happen to me in a long time. My real life is...pretty boring to most people." He was struggling to remember what the last thing he had heard about her was. Haru mentioned something noteworthy about her not too long before getting trapped here. He was going to have to think on that one.
"Depends on what you're asking. In reality things haven't changed much." Sure he had a few hydroponics projects he had been working on in his spare time, but it wasn't something that he expected other people to find particularly interesting. "Here, I've been doing a lot of crafting. Just finished some of my first pieces actually." He moved to tap his knuckles against his chest piece, looking down at his brand new set of armor. It was hard to believe that he made all of this with his own two hands, even if the game did most of the actual work. "Not as exciting as going out and fighting monsters, but I've enjoyed it so far." | I DON'T need THE WHOLE PIE, I JUST WANT MY LITTLE SLICE
