COME HERE YOU PUSSY [QUEST/C]

Over the pass few days Shiro has been busy doing as many quest as he could. He had also been working on the crafting skill he picked up too.

Walking down the streets in the Town of Beginning he received a message from Nguiita. He swiped down on the interface in front of him to pull up his messages: 

^{Message: All we gotta do is find three cats before it rains, you down?}
He grinned. Replying back with: hell yeah, send me your location.

"So where should we look for these kittens?" Shiro paused, thinking to himself for a moment.

"We should probably split up."

"Alright," was the only thing Shiro said before splitting up with Nugiita. 

He took off and immediately began to look in the inner limits of the town of beginnings since the NPC's home was right on the outskirts. His hand rested in his pocket as he looked around whispering "here kitty, kitty!" 

So far he hadn't seen anything, except buildings, buildings and more buildings. So he took this time to inspect some more of the scenery. It was marvelous.

It's almost like real life he intoned, walking through some of the food stands and smelling the area. The scent of the food caused his mouth to water.

"I bet the food is delicious too."

Shiro's journey through the shopping areas left him with his mouth open the whole time. It was amazing, he couldn't quite fathom how everything smelled so real. Truthfully, he'd been fighting with the whole idea of being trapped inside the game.

It didn't click. It just seemed like a ploy to distract them for the major point of the game. Whatever it was, it was just more reason for him to do what he got the game to do - be the best.

After spending a good ten minutes gallivanting about, smelling and looking at the area his attention was caught by a creature he saw walking into an alley.

"Could that of been th--" he didn't even have time to finish his sentence, he immediately raced off towards the alley.

Message received.
Any luck? p.s: we need to hurry it's going to rain soon

Creeping around the edge of the building, Shiro spotted two trashcans that were knocked over and could hear whatever was within the trashcan gnawing of what seemed to be the tip of a fish tail bone.

Before he went to inspect any further he replied to Nugiita.

I think I just found one of the cats. I haven't confirmed it yet, but I'm sure I have one in my sights right now.
Message sent.

With the done, Shiro raced through the alley with as much as his speed as he could muster. Grabbing the lid to the trash can he knocked the can against the wall and closed the lid over it all at the same time.

To his dismay, however, the creature inside of the trashcan was not one of the cats he was sent to collect. However, after letting go of the lid and knocking the trashcan back over the cat within the trashcan raced off.

Shiro followed close behind. He figured that following the cat could lead him to the cat he was looking for. Animals shares traits and habits, right? So if this can ran off somewhere, the old lady's cat may run off to the same area.

"Where is it?" Face dropping into his palm, Shiro wandered around a set of buildings. He lost the cat he was following. Tough luck, right?

That's when it dawned on him. If he wanted to catch a cat, maybe he needed a little bait and to set up a trap. And so he did.

It didn't take much preparation. All Shiro did was go purchase a few slices of read and some milk, then he sat it in the alley where he heard the most cat-like sounds.

Cue the waiting game. 

At least fifteen minutes went by before he lured in his target. A little white and orange kitten with gray stripes on its' paw. Check. He could barely contain himself as he saw it.

As the cat walked over and started eating on what was left of the couple slices of bread that Shiro had laid out. Beside it was a bowl of milk. both of which were beside the lid to the trashcan. 

"Gotcha!" shouted Shiro as he jumped from the side of the building holding the trashcan down so he could trap the kitten.

Message received.

Reading over Nugiita's few messages it seemed that the cat he thought he found wasn't actually the cat. However, Shiro did just successfully catch one.

Pulling up his user interface after he fully caught and had the kitten in his hands, stroking it's fur he sent a message to Nugiita:

I  just caught one! I'm going to turn it into the old woman now. How's it going for you, caught any of the kittens? We may need to meet up soon, the skies are getting darker. It may rain soon.
 

Shiro delivered the cat he found to the old lay.

"According to the NPC that was the second kitten returned. So there's only one more to find. This shouldn't be too hard." 

From here he headed back to the part of the town where the two boy's called their meeting place. On his way there, Shiro took a sip of what was left of the milk he bought a few moments earlier. He never really liked milk, but here and now it tasted good. It was way more sweeter. and rich with flavor.

"Wow...even the milk tastes good here," he laughed.

Shiro sent a couple messages to Nugiita, telling him he was on his way although while he was on his way. There was no responses.

By the time he arrived to the meeting place he saw Nugiita half-sleep on bench in down the road of the old woman's house. To his surprise when he got there, there was last and final of the kittens they had to retrieve laying on his lap napping along with Nugiita.

"Oi, wake up." All Shiro did was sit down on the bench and pet the cat while nudging Nugiita.
