[nospaces] [break] sweet dreams are made of you Alleyways. [break][break] The thing that every town, city, whatever needed. For the skulkers, the assassins, the darkness and what not. Often, she took these paths because of her nature as a delinquent in the eyes of society. If only to keep them safe for the unweary souls, like tourists or the tired people just looking for a shortcut. She wasn't often the only one patrolling back in real life, and today was perhaps one of the first times she'd been alone for any period of time. She'd always made sure to be around people, to be there to help if she was needed, apart from finding quests and roping in people she found near the place into it. But now, she had intentionally broke away from people, to go by herself. [break][break] Because she was looking for someone you see. [break][break] Someone she had met briefly in the beta but she figured they would be a very good addition to whatever she wanted to do. Why? Because they were both similar in a lot of ways - and if she would ever want to be with someone, perhaps they should be a little like him. Whichever the case, the blonde was walking around when she noticed a figure - and felt a smile touch her lips at the situation. ''Fancy meetin' ya in the alleyways again.'' she said, her face clearly full of amusement. ''Seems like you're a natural skulker - or maybe you're just lost again, aren't ya, Sang?'' she asks of him, approaching him now. [break][break] She would need to catch up with him first, but that was one of her targets down, and she could relax just a little bit more. [break][break] sang[googlefont="Muli|Pavanam"]

In his ever-constant travels for some sort of hot food that could sate that soul-deep craving of his, Sang had once again found his lean dancer's legs carrying him through a lonesome, dusky alleyway somewhere in the middle of the town. Sure, he had a map on hand - he thought - but he was sure enough in his navigational capabilities that he didn't even take a look at it yet. Besides. Logging in after spending... What was it, a month? Two? Away from the game, and coming to find that they couldn't leave The World Aincrad? It had put him in one of those rare contemplative states, where instead of just coolly breezing around without much worry, he was actually thinking about things. His life back in the real world; His sister, and the rest of his family...
He was in such a deep thought process that he didn't notice he wasn't alone in this particular alley. The familiar voice caught his ear and made him stop mid-step - the amused timbre sent a little jolt of recognition up his spine. Coming out of his little thought spell, he turned to face her, a smile of his own cracking the ponderous mask he had been wearing all day. "Me? Get lost? You say that like I've made a habit of it, Canary." He let out a little laugh, happy to see a familiar face. Happy to see her face.
A hand unconsciously drifted to the back of his head, near the spot that that errant rock had slammed into - the thing that caused their paths to cross in the first place. "... Is it bad to say I'm glad you're still playin', considering what's happened and all?" He shrugs, letting his hand fall back to his belt. "All the same, it's good to see you. You haven't been hanging around this same damn alley since I left, have you?"

[nospaces] [break] sweet dreams are made of you She was probably not the only one thinking dark thoughts. [break][break] They all were on some level. [break][break] She laughs, shaking her head, grinning at the male before her. ''And it sounds like you're tryin' to say you didn't.'' she replied to him, after he was done. She noticed his movement, and her grin became a softer smile. ''Not at all. I was actually hopin' you'd be here, as bad as it sounds.'' she added, before shrugging. ''And naw, although I was scoutin' alleys for you - never know where the alleyman called Sang will end up next.'' she said, turning back to teasing within a heartbeat. It was easy, because the two were friends, and they've been through the beta together. But this was more then that, wasn't it? [break][break] It was no longer just a beta. [break][break] ''I'mma have to be serious here. What are your plans? I know I want to be in the frontlines, but I also want to help out the newbies.'' she said. Crossing her arms, her face turned serious - something he'd only seen a few times, if that - the woman knowing that this was no time for jokes. ''I'm tryin' to track people from the beta, to see what we should be doin'. I will admit I'm a bit scared to just openly admit I'm from the beta - I'm not gonna hide it, but I don't wanna be in a rush to admit it either. I don't want the players trapped to rely only on our knowledge. Who knows what changed in the time between beta and launch?'' she said, thoughtfully. However, she shook her head. [break][break] ''Seems I keep askin' ya loaded questions don't I.'' she said, laughing softly. [break][break] sang[googlefont="Muli|Pavanam"]

Despite the change in their conversation's tone towards the serious end of the spectrum, Sang kept that ever-present smile going. The gravity of the situation wasn't lost on him, of course - he was just the sort to keep a cheery, if somewhat-skeptical mood to weather a storm like this. Granted, he was a little shocked at seeing the usually confident and unfazeable woman so... Determined, was that the right adjective? He shifted his weight from one foot to another, 'hmm'ing thoughtfully.
"That could almost be considered another loaded question, couldn't it?" He ran a hand through his blue hair, laughing with her in kind. "Honestly? You sort of caught me in one of my "planning" moods," he shrugged a shoulder, "Which wasn't really gettin' any results beyond "survive". Anything beats just sittin' around waiting to die or for somebody else to save our collective asses, though."
Putting a bit of thought into it now, he fixed Canary with a hard-to-read look, his blue eye closed while he was thinking. "... You thinkin' we go start a guild or something, get all the Beta Testers together under one banner and lead the charge?" At present, he was just spitballing ideas, and this was the first thing that had come to the surface of the little pond that was his mind at the moment. The two of them, at the very least, were a workable pair - he hadn't met many other beta testers, then or now, but at this point in the game, he couldn't see why people wouldn't want to join forces and give winning the game, and their freedom, a shot.
