Pax sat cross-legged next to the fence post by the farm's plot of land. He was eyeing the boars as they walked back and forth along the plot, sniffed about lazily. A couple of them had stopped to look at him, but hadn't aggro'd. He supposed being so well geared made the mobs realise he could kill them easily. Why was he out here again?
"It's quiet on the farm today," he mumbled to himself, quoting on old zombie film he'd seen. Looking around, he wondered if anyone was planning on taking on this little E quest. It was simple enough and the battlefield was open enough for there to be little to no surprises.
He lazily opened up his menu with a yawn. Things had slowed down considerably around the first floor. He supposed to only real action left on this level would be the labyrinth. He passed a notification from Saint about joining a labyrinth expedition, going on to make his own party announcement for anyone nearby. He supposed he could help a few more people today before going to do some exciting new fights. @open Quest

// lie to me // we accept the love we think we deserve.
PAXILON
Word count: 404Leveling. That was definitely something that needed to be done. You would think Blink would've realized this awhile ago, but alas, his initial cowardice had forced him to not really venture out far beyond the town. Death was a scary thing, especially for a seventeen year old. He would eventually get over it, though, and he found himself at a farm, staring at a quest to do, his hand hovering, inches away from touching it. His hesitation and mood was almost palpable. How embarrassing would it be for him to be killed by a boar on the first level? He sighed, his finger moving towards the quest to do it solo, when a notification popped up on his screen. Someone else was looking for a party to do the quest, and he would definitely not be the one to turn him down. So Blink walked through the little farm patch, twirling his rusty sword muttering to himself under his breath about the disparity between what this game was supposed to be, and what it actually was. However terrifying facing death was, he would have to do his part. He had heard about a dive into the labyrinth, while dangerous sounding, he planned to be on the literal front line. He approached Paxilon, at an angle, taking in the sight of the fully geared older, and more than likely alpha, male. He sighed. If he wanted to kill me, he could do it without a problem. He mused, speculating about the difference between dying well in an actual fight with another player, or dying to a boar. However, death was not his intention, nor was it his intention to fight this person..he doubted anyone would want to reveal their true colors at such an early level, when everyone was on a more even playing ground. "Hello." He said, hailing the older individual, "Saw your party announcement for this quest, and to be honest, I've been putting off leveling for a little bit, you know with the whole permanently being killed thing. Anyway..If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to join you for this..adventure.." His long winded introduction was straight forward, if a bit off-putting. No point in lying, with his lack of gear, it was painfully obvious that the dark haired, onyx eyed younger male had definitely not been grinding. "I'm Blink, by the way." He said, using his screen name. Why even use real names?

"... Now, correct me if I'm wrong," Sang spoke aloud, walking along the wooden fence line with his face buried in his map, "But I think this definitely isn't the way to the food stand. Huh."
He quirked a brow in mild consternation - how was it this hard to find something half-decent to eat in this town? He had been spending too much time loafing about around the starting area without actually doing anything of note, just looking for food - in vain - and getting lost. By now, he was starting to think it was time to get off his lazy ass, and go and do something productive!
... Juuuuust after grabbing a quick bite to eat. At least, that was his initial plan - that was before he managed to stumble his way out of the alleyways and backstreets and into... Wherever this place was. His brain had only just now registered that he had transcended from walking on the stone street to trudging along some random grassy field; Realizing this, he dropped his map/H.U.D./'constant reminder that his friends list was empty' window and looked around.
'... Y'know, when I was saying to myself 'some bacon sounds really good right now' earlier, this isn't what I had meant.' he thought to himself, staring down at one of the boars a few feet away that he had nearly wandered into. Luckily, it didn't seem to have aggro'd him - yet - and noting this, he slowly, carefully-
"SORRY HAMSNACK, I'M NOT READY TO DIE YET!"
-Yelled like an idiot and made a desperate, blind leap to safety over the fence beside him, blindly flying past the gent sitting by the fencepost and the other player who had come walking up to him. Sang didn't have time to make note of their presence until after he landed - face-first into the grass on the other side of the fence. Taking a moment to come back to full consciousness, he rolled onto his back and slowly sat up, dusting his head off with a hand. His head swiveled around, and he finally caught sight of the other two, staring at them for a moment before giving a little wave of greeting. "... So. You two been here long?" He cheerfully smiled, closing his eyes. "What can I do for you to forget you saw any of that? Need a questing partner or somethin'?"

Pax yawned and started thinking about what kind of enemies would appear the labyrinth. In the beta it had been those annoying little kobold mobs. A single kobold was easy enough, but they traveled in packs. He'd have to mentally prepare himself to be ready for that again. Before he could even consider how best to go about it, however, a voice sounded behind. He looked over his shoulder and nodded.
"Hey," he paused before continuing to scoot himself around on the ground to face the kid, his helmet covering any facial reactions he might've had, "Nah, the dying thing isn't too bad. It's one of those, first time is the most difficult things, you know?"
He chuckled a bit to himself and went to stand up and introduce himself. In the middle of pushing himself off the ground, another person came vaulting over the fence, careening into the dirt of the road. Had he yelled something about hamsnacks? Pax sighed and finished getting himself off the ground. Standing up straight, he realised both of these people were taller than him. He sighed internally.
"Hamsnack? Really?" he looked down to the person that had made the greatest entrance he'd seen yet, "No, we haven't been here long, but if you want to join in on the fun, we were about to do the quest to kill those . . . hamsnacks. I'm Paxilon, by the by, but most have taken to calling me Pax." sang blink
