The Kittens of Death(Q/C)

Raiken had just accepted the quest when a familiar face appeared before her. Opening her menu she sent him a party request. "Do this quest with me," she plainly said whilst looking at him with disinterested eyes. It seemed like she just interacted with people in the game in order to do quests. It wasn't like she'll be able to contact anyone of them outside the game once it was over. She might as well just interact with people in the game and leave it at that since she probably wouldn't see anyone within the game in real life.

Unless they were to find her village like a stalker, or if she were hired to assassinate someone that was in the game in the real world. "I'll find the kittens, you carry them back," she plainly said. She had to do this sort of thing in the real world while training, only those cats were trained to attack anyone that went after them. Raiken had been beaten up many times by such beasts. It would not put it past the girl that this death game would have something similar for low level players.

Raiken started to walk in a random direction while seeing if she could track the kittens, if tracking worked the same as it did in real life. She couldn't find anything to distinguish the kittens' prints from the rest of the ground. She couldn't see any footprints in the ground to begin with. 'So we have to just randomly go around and use luck to find the kittens before it starts to 'rain',' she sighed as the girl stood up due to her crouching on the ground and running her hand along it to see if she could track down the kittens that way.

'This game is so stupid it's not funny,' she thought while walking in the direction that she was originally going when she heard a noise that sounded like a kitten mewling. Quickly, she started to walk in that direction to find the kitten and find it she did. It was sprawled out in a box too high for it to get out of. The kitten apparently fell into the box from someplace up high. Looking around, she hesitantly reached into the box to get the kitten.

The kitten hissed at her and took a swipe at her hand dealing five points of damage. 'So it's exactly like those training missions,' she internally sighed and took a step back. There was no way she was going to get beaten up by a kitten again, she learned her lesson after the fifth training mission that had 'find the kitten or kittens' as a requirement.

Raiken walked through the town in silence, occasionally she would look around and behind her to make sure she didn't miss a cat, and if the man was still behind her. 'He can't complain, this is basically free experience points,' she thought while coming across a tree. She stopped and realized that they had walked into a park. Looking around she heard a kitten's mewls of help. Cranking her head she noticed a kitten in the tree.

"I will climb the tree, you catch the kitten," Raiken said before placing a hand on the tree. There was a branch a couple feet above her. If she jumped she could grab hold and pull herself up. 'I really hope strength is relative to the real world here,' she thought before crouching down and jumped up.

As she reached the arc of her jump, Raiken's hand snapped upwards and caught the branch. Raiken pulled herself upwards with little difficulty, and was crouched on the branch. With that she could easily climb up to the kitten, and she did so eventually reaching the branch with the kitten on it. "Are you ready," she called down to the man that was questing with her.
