Cheshire wanted to do something fun while she was waiting for her brother to get back from one of his quests. She was scared of going out of the town without someone with her so she looked around for something to do inside the town. It didn't matter to her that the day seemed to be changing into one of the gloomy its gonna rain days. She had no problem with rain she liked dancing in it. The only thing that she would worry about was her brother not getting back to the inn in at all because of the rain. She wondered if they could get sick in here if they stayed out in the chilly rainy air for long. Was it possible to get sick in a virtual world. This wasn't a game anymore at least that's what her brother kept reminding her of. He wanted to make it clear that they needed to do all they could to get out of the world and get themselves stronger so that they could leave this world and go home. She also knew that he felt bad for bringing her into this and it being her first experience with such games. Still he was protective of her and he would do what he could to keep her safe and she knew that so she did as he said like a dutiful little sister. But she did worry about him. She was wandering thinking about these things when she looked up at a nice old woman who was standing by her door. She waved her over and she skipped over to the old woman's house. 'What can I help you with?" She asked curiously. The woman began her story and she thought for a moment. It would be bad for kittens to get all wet and cold. Far worse for them then herself. She needed to go find these kitties. "Oh yes I'll help you. I'll go find your kittens. They couldn't have gotten too far hopefully." She said and then bounded off to find the kittens in question. Her quest log said she needed to find three kittens and get them back before it started to rain. She looked up at the sky a moment.
She then looked down and headed for an alley to see if one of the kittens had managed to get themselves back into a corner or into a trash can or box in the alley. "Here little kitties." She said was she got closer and went looking through a few of the boxes. "Come out I'm not gonna hurt you." She said again as she walked over to another box and then another trash can. It wasn't until she heard the smallest of mew's that she realized a kitten was right at her feet. She smiled and picked it up and then looked up again and slowly made her way out of the alley way as she was at the end of it anyways. "Where are your other siblings." She questioned softly as she headed out and back on the streets holding the kitten close to her. She needed to find two more and it would be nice if she had some help to do it too. She also wondered if the other kittens would come out as easily.

| TAKE ME TO VALHALLA WHERE MY SISTERS WAIT FOR ME | |
It's almost more frightening than the reality of the game itself how easily she's getting used to the idea of living in SAO. Lying back on an empty bench outside, Suzume watches the clouds swell up in swathes of white and grey by with dull eyes, stray thoughts drifting through her mind alongside the wandering breeze. Just like every other time she's stopped to think since the revelation, introspection inevitably leads back to Aincrad, SAO, what is now her life, and of course, the possibility of death lurking just under this beautifully animated facade. She'd panicked when the announcement had first come, yes, but now, only mere days later, that panic has long dulled into resignation of her fate. As long as she doesn't start or participate in any fight, she might actually survive this ordeal. Hopefully. Hm. With rather morbid humour, Suzume wonders if, should she die, would it be from the game itself? Or would it be from her parents deciding that she's not worth the life support needed. Maybe she'll drop dead any moment now. Maybe these are her last few moments. Overhead, the sky darkens as clouds begin to gather in a carpet of thick angry grey, a storm broiling in the cauldron of heaven. A gloomy day to match her gloomy mood. Lovely. In the midst of her delightfully uplifting ruminations, Suzume's ears prick up at the soft sound of a cat's meow. She sits up. Despite what her name might suggest, Suzume actually very much loves cats, and if there is one around her right now, well. Never let it be said that she doesn't look out for strays, especially with the weather that looms before them. The cat, it turns out, is not a stray. Curled up in the embrace of a young girl, contentment plastered all over its cute furry face, Suzume can't help but feel a little disappointed that she won't get to play with the feline. It's more than just disappointment though, she realises with a start. The heavy, cold feeling twining its way around her heart is an amalgamation of fear, jealousy, desire, sadness, but most of all, it's just crushing loneliness. Despite being an introvert, despite having mostly ignored everyone and everything for the past few days, despite her withdrawal into herself, once confronted with the image of a young girl content with her cat regardless of the deadly situation they're in, Suzume... aches. "It's going to rain soon." The words spill out her mouth without her conscious decision, quiet enough that they can barely be heard above the rustle of leaves, and for a moment, she doesn't even realise she's spoken. Red creeps into her cheeks once she does register her words however; Suzume fervently wishes that the game had some sort of vanishing feature so that she could teleport away from her social ineptness. Unfortunately, there's no simple solution as such, and she has to plough on ahead in all her awkward glory. "You should... probably head inside. If you don't want to get wet."She should probably shut up before she makes the situation worse. Stranger danger, and all. Surely the girl has been taught all about what to do if a stranger approaches without warning. The cat was decidedly not worth all this. ...see, this is why Suzume spent the last few days avoiding people. ▲ WORDS: 562 ● Cheshire ● NOTES: I hope this is okay?

Cheshire looked up to the gloomy sky and then down to the content little kitten in her arms. She needed to find two more so she wondered where they other two could be. After all she would probably need to enlist someone else to help her before the clouds started to pour rain down on her and the poor kitten she had but she was bound and determined to find the others and hoping that having one with her would make the others want to come closer to her maybe. She didn't realize however that she was standing by a bench now just thinking. She shook out her head and then noticed the soft mew of the kitten in her arms and then looked down to see a person there. She tilted her head to the side. Cheshire was friendly kind to most people and animals. A thing her brother said could be dangerous in this game mostly because he knew how naive his sister could be. Granted Cheshire was without her big brother's words and she was within a city so she was perfectly safe to talk to others. Plus her brother told her that in order to make friends she had to try to talk to people but that she had to be careful that was all. It wasn't like she knew how to talk to and who not to talk to. She had never been in one of these games before. So as she was debating on speaking to the other the other spoke to her. She smiled at little bit at her words. "Oh i know its gonna rain soon. I was trying to find this little ones siblings." She said watching the person's cheeks turn red which made her tilt her head a bit. She smiled still though as the girl told her she might want to get inside. She didn't find it awkward or anything really. Then again what was awkward to some was not to Cheshire. She took a deep breath and decided to introduce herself and thena sk for help. She wasn't going to really let anyone say no to her unless they really didn't want to do anything with her but she figured that the other might want to help a little bit. "Like i said I'm looking for this ones siblings. I need to get them all back to their owner before it rains. This one came to me easy enough but i need help finding the other two. I don't want them to get hurt by the rain that's coming." She said with genuine concern. "I'm Cheshire by the way. Will you help me?" She questioned with another huge smile on her face. She pet the kitten in her arms as it contently purred there. She was sure that they would find the others. She looked around and wondered if they would be hiding under benches or something like that. Perhaps there was one around her. She looked down and spoke to the kitten. "What say you. Do you want more help?" The kitten looked up at Suzume and mewed cutely. "That settles it." She said as she opened up the party screen and waited. OOKAMI

| TAKE ME TO VALHALLA WHERE MY SISTERS WAIT FOR ME | |
Contrary to all of Suzume's expectations, the white-haired girl doesn't react with wariness, instead gracing her with a bright smile and a small tilt of head that practically radiates innocence. It occurs to her, then, that the other player may very well be too young to fully comprehend the particulars of their situation - it would certainly explain her rather carefree attitude - and the short stature, the rounder features with baby fat still clinging to her cheeks, the manner of speech all support such a theory. Then again, Suzume is hardly one to talk. It's not like she has much experience with anything beyond the most basic of social interactions. Feeling rather awkward just standing there and listening to the other girl talk, Suzume nevertheless remains silent, taking great care to keep her hands from fidgeting. Dark eyes drift down to the cat in the white-haired player's - in Cheshire's - arms; without her conscious decision, her blank expression slips into a soft if uncertain and small smile. The kitten is truly adorable as it lets out a soft mew and nuzzles up to Cheshire. Without warning, a message pops up in front of her, inviting her to a party. Suzume looks at it askance, having only seen it two or three times before. Wariness is a learned instinct etched into the marrow of her bones, but looking at two pairs of wide, expectant eyes - one feline, one human - her crushing desire for company overrides her caution; with a and that she mentally forces to stay steady, Suzume taps the accept button, officially joining Cheshire's party. "I'm S- Ookami," she mumbles, only just remembering to introduce herself with her in-game name rather than her real one. Not that it would really matter, she thinks, a tad morbidly. It's not like anyone can track her down in the real world using her name. That'd imply beating the game first. Then it occurs to her that she honestly didn't need to introduce herself in the first place - being in a party with Cheshire means that the white-haired girl can just see her name just as Suzume can see Cheshire's. Gods, she's such an idiot. She should really just shup up, let the younger girl take the lead. But apparently her voice doesn't get the memo; Suzume is horrified when she finds the words "Do you- do you have any idea w-where to start looking?" emerge from her mouth without her consent - and to make matters worse, she can't even talk normally. Her father would be so angry if he could hear his daughter now. Please, Suzume thinks slightly desperately, glancing at the white-haired girl. Please, don't be too put off by my utter social incompetence.▲ WORDS: 450 ● Cheshire ● NOTES: I'm sorry, Suzume's a bit of a mess orz
