Horus glanced at the field where he'd done his first quest; it hadn't been long since he'd fought those pigs alongside Yami and Raiken, but it had felt like ages. He'd advanced quickly in level, and had boosted his skills. He needed to push himself further; the boss fight couldn't be much further away. The players who had started questing earlier than Horus were finally getting ready to explore the labyrinth where the boss room lay hidden, waiting to be discovered. Horus swallowed nervously; the though to fighting the beast that lurked within terrified him, but excited him. It felt good to have purpose, and he intended to catch up before the raid.
He noticed there weren't only pigs in these fields, but boars too. He'd had to fight one before when he was traveling alone, and it was no easy task. But he'd come a long way since then, and he'd heard about a quest that was essentially a harder version of that quest he'd done with Raiken and Yami. The task was nearly identical, though he needed to kill boars this time instead of pigs, and he had to return the tusks to the NPC. Still, nothing too taxing, though he was wary to step into boar spawn points alone. He could take a boar one on one with no problem, but he'd be in trouble if they started ganging up on him.
Horus wondered if there were any nearby players who were looking to complete the same quest, and glanced around to find a party member.

| | Zero steeled herself and stepped out across the fields, determined to do this quest without being easily carried through by a geared player. While she was still lacking armour, she’d at least managed to upgrade her weapon enough to make it – hopefully – not too bad a quest. It hadn’t looked too bad last time, and the boars hadn’t done enough damage to make them a serious risk to her life. She hoped.
She briefly mourned the cloak that the other player had lent her for the quest last time, beginner gear not warm enough to keep the chill out. She’d searched the NPC shops for one after last time, wanting one of her own, but the seventy five col price had just been too much. The cold would just have to serve as another incentive to work harder and achieve her goals.
Spotting the other player, she diverted towards him, carefully approaching – worried of other players pulling a sword on her when she couldn’t hold her own, she was still cautious about strangers. “Hey,” she offered, tentatively, just in case he didn’t want to be disturbed.

Someone managed to talk to him before he talked to them; a rare feat, since Horus had a tendency to be kind of a loudmouth. In his defense, they kind of snuck up on him.
"Hey," they'd said. Horus turned quickly, and his vision was dragged down to view the player who'd greeted him. She was short, probably just a little over five feet tall, with dark hair. She seemed hesitant to speak with him; guarded, even. He could tell she was nervous, and looked ready to dive for her sword at any moment. Caution was good, he guessed, though it felt a little cold.
Trying to diffuse the situation, Horus flashed her a bright smile. "Hey, I'm Horus!" he greeted happily. "Are you working on Hog Wash? I'm hoping to get this quest done by the end of today."
The girl was obviously working on the same quest as him; there weren't any other quests nearby except the original pig one, but she looked too well geared to be working on that. She didn't have any armor that he could see, much like Horus, but had an upgraded weapon. "Wanna join my party? We could knock this quest out easy, no sweat."
