She'd be a bit more weary of the beautiful and motherly figure asking for her help if it wasn't Christmas time. Surely a quest wouldn't lead to an ill-intentioned fate during a time of giving and effortless love. But then again she'd thought not long ago that surely a quick virtual reality video gaming session couldn't go wrong. She chewed on her bottom lip and fiddled her thumbs. Atlas, she's hardly a shy woman, but when you've got a head with a big brain on your shoulders there are things you're bound think up that could scare a grown man. She thought up about a million or so lies but each and every one of them seemed tacky. Walking away was an option but the guilt would be there. Lying? Not a problem. Atlas, since she learned to talk, has made up most of her life stories without remorse. However, her heart burned at the thought of anyone having to suffer in such a world and to make things worse couldn't get a single present for Christmas. She knew that Christmas happened to be more about getting than anything else.
Her big, brown eyes drifted over to a nearby player. A bit daunting, she was, not in looks but rather the fact that someone would know for sure if Atlas rejected the other woman with one hell of a hopeful expression plastered onto her rosy face. It seemed the other was actually contemplating the quest as well. Or maybe the red-head was waiting to see what happened. Atlas shuffled her feet until their shoulders nearly touched and then sighed aloud in attempts to gain some attention. More often than not it was hard for her to be noticed due to being the shortest one in the room.
"Oh! Isn't it so sad that the poor child has to go without a gift?" She pressed her hands to her cheeks and pouted. "It's only right if we help the less fortunate. Would you like to join me? 'Tis the season after all." Atlas didn't want to accept the quest, really, but she also couldn't help but hold a tight desire to earn the possible rewards, not to mention that feeling of guilt that would reside in her chest if she didn't do anything. And though usually she'd be a loner, able and ready to do things alone, she felt the selfish need to drag someone else along with her so she wouldn't suffer from such a boring, yet kindly performed, quest alone. Capsule ~Sorta kinda late and pretty lame but it's a beginning and I'm satisfied :3~

[attr="class","Mute"][googlefont="Iceland:400"] Die reinste Freude ist die Schadenfreude [attr="class","capsule"] Tolbana was a favorite hang out of Capsule's, though not without its faults. These came in the form of quest bearing NPCs, who never seemed to be short on tedious and guilt tripping requests. She tried to avoid them on most days; advancement was a necessity, yes, and she would only do it on her terms, not theirs. Unless they caught her, of course. It was hard to turn them down once they cornered you with a sob story. "Oh, my daughter has gone missing! Put up ten posters, please." "Help, I carelessly chucked my locket in the river and I need you to catch your death while retrieving it!" And the most bothersome of them all: "Tarnation, I seem to be up to my neck in dough! Relieve me of this bread." Sadly, no safe haven was devoid of demanding NPCs. Today, she had the misfortune of catching the attention of a...foster mother? Head of an orphanage? Whatever the case, the motherly figure was in desperate need of help. Honestly, it wasn't the sort of quest Cap wanted to get caught up in, and she could've easily left; the NPC was currently distracted with an even shorter girl than Capsule. But, you see... The NPC was cute. Plus, there was word that certain quests were giving out "free" clothes, and she was in dire need of some new duds. It was a win win, from her perspective. "...Huh?" Capsule blinked when she realized the other girl was addressing her, and deftly lifted her gaze above the NPC's neckline. "It is pretty sad, I guess..." As the youngest of five children, five of who were all male, Capsule could relate. Growing up, her family wasn't exactly well off, though she was lucky enough to be moderately spoiled as a child. Her oldest brothers often went without, and the ones younger than them were plagued with hand me downs. It was frustrating to be treated with resentment. "I don't mind helping. I have a lot of brothers, so it would be easy." Theoretically, anyway. ✏: flurp@: Atlas 瑤光 [newclass=.capsule]padding-top:10px;padding-left:10px;padding-right:10px;font-size:11px;color:#2b2b2b;font-family:calibri;text-align:justify;[/newclass] [newclass=.capsule b]color:#169199;[/newclass] [newclass=.Mute]font-family:'Iceland';font-style:normal;font-size:22px;font-weight:400;color:#1da074;text-align:center;-webkit-transition: all .5s linear;-moz-transition: all .5s linear;-ms-transition: all .5s linear;-o-transition: all .5s linear;transition: all .5s linear;[/newclass] [newclass=.Mute:hover]color: #ff5502;-webkit-transition: all .5s linear;-moz-transition: all .5s linear;-ms-transition: all .5s linear;-o-transition: all .5s linear;transition: all .5s linear;[/newclass]
