I AM NOT A BAD MAN even though i do bad things VERY BAD THINGS such horrible things Evan made his way out of the city gates towards the nearby creek where the NPC had lost her locket. This was, of course, another one of the quests in the game that he could take. Though these were easy to do and thus pretty uneventful, he was going to do them anyway. He'd never been one to back down from a job, as tedious as it might be. When he used to patrol the city as a police officer he did small, trivial things that civilians would sometimes ask of him. The creek, as he approached it, looked calm but quite muddy. Just standing and peering down into the water wouldn't help him find the missing locket. With an inward sigh he stepped forward and dipped one foot into the creek, testing the water's depth. Once he discovered that it only reached up to his knees, he completely went in and stood in the water. It was a good thing this was the virtual world. At least his shoes and pants weren't actually going to be muddied. And now, to the actual task at hand. Trying to find a locket in this place was no doubt doing to be a difficult chore. Unfortunately, Evan didn't have any tools to make it easier. Did the game even have something like a metal detector that they could use? There was no putting off the inevitable anymore. Standing there wasn't going to make the quest finish faster. After stretching his limbs out he then bent over and began to feel around the soil for any object he could wrap his hands around on.

[attr="class","Mute"] Die reinste Freude ist die Schadenfreude [attr="class","capsule"] Fetch quests. There was just no end to the damn things, but Alkaid shamelessly took more and more of them. She needed not only the exp, but she small chunk of change that came with them. That, and she was still working out the kinks in the system. But if the game had not glitched out when she went on a kitten hunting spree, how could it mess up a simple locket? The item should, theoretically, be static. Those virtual kitties were not, and there may still be a flaw to their coding that she missed. She gave the NPC a final nod before setting off, hands tucked into the cramped pockets of her shabby leather pants. There was little worry of being assaulted by a monster this close to the Starting City, so she felt safe to let her guard down for once. From the looks of things, other people had the same idea. Several were walking up and down the creek, stopping every now and then to bend down and poke around. Only of the guys had dared to actually wade out into the water, however. He was very tall, so the water only came up as far as his knees. If Alkaid or the others tried, the water would easily come up to their waist or chest. If there was a hope of finding the locket, he'd have a fairly good one. Knowing the idiocy of NPCs, the necklace would long have been washed away. Feeling bold as usual, Alkaid primly stepped closer to the water's edge. ”Yo, King Fisher. Need help on this locket quest?” She was really hoping to just piggyback ride off his own success, to be honest. There was no way she was getting herself muddy, even in a video game. ✏: idk@: Lucifer 瑤光 [newclass=.capsule]padding-top:10px;padding-left:10px;padding-right:10px;font-size:11px;color:#2b2b2b;font-family:calibri;text-align:justify;[/newclass] [newclass=.Mute]font-family:'Iceland';font-style:normal;font-size:20px;font-weight:400;color:#1da074;text-align:center;-webkit-transition: all .5s linear;-moz-transition: all .5s linear;-ms-transition: all .5s linear;-o-transition: all .5s linear;transition: all .5s linear;[/newclass] [newclass=.Mute:hover]color: #ff5502;-webkit-transition: all .5s linear;-moz-transition: all .5s linear;-ms-transition: all .5s linear;-o-transition: all .5s linear;transition: all .5s linear;[/newclass]
