It was his third time taking the mission and he wasn’t exactly sure why. Marth stared up at the mountain with his hands tucked in his pockets. The feeling of the sun kissing his skin and the warmth running up his spine was addictive. He loved seeing the floor from the summit and the way that he could just think about anything even if it was a bit heavy. Though, he needed someone to go with that didn’t take the mission before. The NPC didn’t seem surprised to see him again and he wasn’t going to wonder whether or not the entity even remembered him. Sending up a beacon to show that he was out in the wilderness, he sat with his back against a large boulder. Coming here with Sonic and Prince at one point gave him a new insight on a few things. He had been thinking a lot more lately but also enjoying himself. It seemed like the more that he met people, he was learning things about himself and them. I’m a little tired. He closed his eyes and crossed his arms behind his head, lounging in the sunlight. KIKIMission is Height of Glory. She was making progress. From leaving the Inn for small aimless walks to actually taking quests again, she felt as if she was pressing on ahead at a good pace it would seem. Next, she would aim for meeting with a tailor in the town of Tolbana to help her upgrade from her current starter gears and hand-me-downs from Ra--Sonic. Before the venture off to Tolbana though, there was another quest she remembered for the Beta that she felt would certainly be of some good use to her person. It was this rather simple climb the mountain quest, which had bored her with it's concept in the beta, but now with the current stakes it seemed... Interesting. Like a nature hike or something, y'know? But, of course quests couldn't be done solo, and after a while of wandering around, Kiki had finally come across another person by the quest starter point. A younger player - probably a decade younger than herself - was just lounging in the sun, seemingly asleep. But, he was underneath the beacon for help that led her to him so there came a moment where she wasn't sure if she should bother him or not. Then she remembered the stakes and how dangerous just sleeping out in the middle of no where could be and kind of found her resolve. " Hello?" she softly called out, crouching down in front of the boy. " Sorry, you're looking for party members for the Height of Glory quest, right?" she tacked on, quirking her head a little to the side. There was a small bubble of worry inside of her as she bothered him though. While most have shifted their focus to simple survival, there was still some of the angry fans that blamed her for their being trapped in this game. She used to love the recognition as some sort of internet celebrity for her gaming content, but now it was just making interacting with people here a rather scary experience.

A yawn escaped Marth and he opened his eyes slightly to blearily stare at the person in front of him. It was a young woman who may have been a few years older than himself. Turquoise hair and sea foam green eyes. He squinted slightly and tiled his head before realization dawned on him. There was absolutely no way. He sat up and rested his hands in his lap as he tried to get a better look at her. Yep, there was no mistaking it. " That'd be great," he said. " Thanks a lot." He stood to his feet and brushed off the imaginary dust clinging to his pants. Sending a party invite to her, Marth smiled and turned his attention to the mountain. This was the umpteenth time that he took the quest but it felt just like the first. Wandering into some place that he wasn't sure of. The hint of death lingering. Being able to do what he wanted and in the end being rewarded with a view that was breathtaking. " Ready to go," he asked. " And just to ask, are you that youtuber who was talking about beta-ing the game?" He snapped his fingers trying to recall the name only to shake his head. " Well doesn't matter. I just wanted to say first and foremost, thanks. I'd never have gotten in here if it wasn't for you and I'm having the time of my life." Whether someone thought he was insane or not, Marth meant it and with that started the ascent up the mountain. If that yawn meant anything, she caught him just before he dozed off. That was fortunate. She smiled as he stirred, but then the nervousness sank back in the more he stared at her. Oh no, he knew who she was, didn't he? She promptly looked away as he sat up to study her more, before relaxing when he greeted her normally. Maybe he thought she was familiar at first, or pretty, or something, whatever it was a bit unsettling though. Standing up and paying no mind to how much taller the younger man was, she went ahead and accepted his request where her username would pop up in his vision to reveal her name as 'Kiki', which might help him remember Kiki's Delivery Service, as her channel was called. Dusting off herself, gauntlets clicking and clacking as she moved. As she flicked some dirt from her blue shirt, Marth spoke up and Kiki visibly froze in place when he asked about her promoting the game. It felt like something got stuck in her throat and she avoided looking at him entirely. Opening her menu, flicking around, she was getting ready to leave the party she just joined, only for her to stop when he thanked her. Her eyes widened in confusion and she turned to look up at Marth with total dumbfounded awe. He was having the time of his life?" Are you being sarcastic?" she managed after a minute. Trotting after him, she was used to having to walk a little fast to keep pace with longer legged companions. " Tha-That's not funny. Listen, I-I didn't..." she started, conflicted on how to respond to that. He sounded genuine but how could anyone be happy with this kind of place? Her eyes glanced to the username under her status bar in her UI, before she looked back at Marth. " I'm sorry" she quietly tacked on, clearly nervous after that - and keeping her distance from Marth as they began their climb.
